Leonardo DiCaprio is Set for The Revenant
Leonardo DiCaprio is now set to appear in Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu’s The Revenant. Deadline reports.
An adaptation of Michael Punke’s revenge novel, The Revenant is set in the 1820s. DiCaprio will play Hugh Glass, a man bent on revenge after being mauled by a bear on a fur trapping expedition, then robbed and abandoned by the two men left behind to help him.
The Revenant will be financed by RatPac and Worldview Entertainment and produced by Iñárritu, Arnon Milchan, James Skotchdopole alongside Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin, David Kanter and Keith Redmon. Paul Green will executive produce.
