WWE Studios has released a promo image of the evil leprechaun creature from their upcoming film Leprechaun: Origins at the comic con. It’s not the kind of Leprechaun you remember from cartoons or from anywhere else, It is dark, vicious and quite frankly stupid!
The story centers on “two young couples who while backpacking through Ireland, discover a town’s chilling secret inside an old cabin at the edge of the woods.” Of course the monstrous-looking leprechaun is going to put them through hell.
The movie was directed by Zach Lipovsky, and it stars Dylan Postl, who is also known as WWE wrestler “Hornswoggle.” Brendan Fletcher, Teach Grant, Andrew Dunbar, Stephanie Bennett, and Melissa Roxburgh.
The movie will be released on VOD and Digital HD platforms on August 26th, and Blu-ray and DVD on September 30th.
