Lupin III’s First 3D Movie Trailer Looks Stunning

Taking Lupin III’s impressive and stunning 2D style and turning it into a modern 3D animated film looks like something will go belly up, but somehow, this first trailer for Lupin III The First looks incredible.

We’re stuck with natural lighting and color palettes, same with most other 3D movies, but the characters themselves look rather good given the conditions. As though they just took the 2D characters from the manga/anime and were able to pan the camera.

Lupin III will be out in Japan on December 6.
