Martin Scorsese’s Crime Thriller THE IRISHMAN First Trailer with De Niro, Pacino and Pesci Released

Netflix just released the first trailer for Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, and OH MY GOD! It looks brilliant beyond words! I love the crime and mob movies that Scorsese has made earlier, and this looks like it’s going to be a solid and amazing addition to his list of movies. It looks like a brilliant and classic Scorsese!

The Irishman is defined as “an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler, and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th Century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries, and connections to mainstream politics.”

The movie has an unbelievable cast that brings together Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Anna Paquin, and Bobby Cannavale. Some of the characters have been de-aged for the movie as the story crosses over decades. We even get a look at some of the de-aging that was made for the movie. The super amazing look that we have so far is of a young De Niro.

The de-aging in the movie looks amazing, but it doesn’t really matter. What means is the story that is being told, and The Irishman is going to tell a grand, exciting, and intense story!

The Irishman is based on Charles Brandt’s novel, I Heard You Paint Houses: Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran & Closing the Case on Jimmy Hoffa, and there’s a lot of controversy surrounding the story as it’s based on the deathbed confession of Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran.

The movie also stars Stephen Graham, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jack Huston, Kathrine Narducci, and Jesse Plemons.

The Irishman will be revealed at the New York Film Festival and will hit Netflix and in theaters this fall.
