
It all comes down to this. The Marvel Cinematic Universe was left on a massive cliffhanger at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Thanos (Josh Brolin) had succeeded in bringing balance to the universe. In doing so, he left half of the MCU as dust. What happens next? We won’t know for sure until Avengers 4 opens in May 2019, but this new trailer gives us our first clues into how Phase Three will draw to a close:
We won’t be calling it Avengers 4 anymore. Taking a cue from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), who told Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) that we were in the end game now, the new movie will be called Avengers: Endgame.
