Check out this fun new TV spot for Marvel’s Hawkeye series, and it gives up some entertaining new footage that centers on the relationship between Clint Barton and Kate Bishop and the crazy action-packed Christmas experience that they find themselves trying to survive.
Jeremy Renner is coming back to the role of Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, and he is joined by Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop.
“Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”
Talking about Kate Bishop in an interview, Renner revealed some details on the story, saying, “Kate is] a 22-year-old kid and she’s a big Hawkeye fan. She has a wonderfully annoying and equally charming manner about her because she’s such a fangirl of Hawkeye. The relationship grows from that, but the biggest problem for Clint is Kate Bishop and the onslaught of problems that she brings into his life.”
The series also stars Vera Farmiga as Kate’s mother Eleanor; Fra Fee as Kazi, which is short for Kazimierz Kazimierczak, a.k.a. Clown; Tony Dalton is Duquesne, a.k.a. Swordsman, Alaqua Cox is Echo, and Zahn McClarnon is playing Kate’s father, William Lopez. Florence Pugh returns also to the role of Yelena Belova from Black Widow.
Hawkeye will be released on Disney+ on November 24th.
