Marvel’s Upcoming Series MS. MARVEL First Trailer Released
Marvel has released the first trailer for its new and upcoming live-action Disney+ series Ms. Marvel! This is a series that I’ve actually been waiting for to see because I think she has a wonderful story arc in the comics.
The series stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, and she looks great in the series. The trailer shows MCU’s newest superhero as she tries to balance high-school life, her family, and her emerging superpowers.
Kamala Khan is a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. “An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega-fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, right?”
The rest of the cast includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.
Episodes are directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Bisha K. Ali are the executive producers.
It was also revealed that the series will premier on Disney+ on June 8th.
