Check out this new red-band trailer for Matthew McConaughey’s new movie The Beach Bum. The movie trails the bizarre misadventures of Moondog, “a rebellious burnout who only knows how to live life by his own rules.”
Harmony Korine (Spring Breakers, Gummo, Kids, Trash Humpers) is directing the movie. This looks like it’s going to be different wild and crazy movie by the director. Korine manages to make movies that are hard to watch, this latest one looks like it will be her most sane conventional movie.
McConaughey will be joined by a distinguished supporting cast that involves Zac Efron as Flicker, who is just one of the many characters that Moondog meets on his journey. The movie also stars Snoop Dogg, Isla Fisher, Stefania LaVie Owen, Jimmy Buffett, Martin Lawrence, and Jonah Hill.
The Beach Bum will be released in theaters on March 22, 2019.
