Microsoft confirmed the Xbox Series S with a picture of the very slim console and gave us a price of the upcoming console, $299. That’s an awesome price tag for a next-gen system.
The Series S will feature a custom 512 GB SSD, resolutions of 1440p at 120 FPS, DirectX ray tracing, variable refresh rate, 4K upscaling for games, and 4K streaming abilities. Just as everyone has thought, this fits well in line with expectations of a weaker Series X that’s easier to buy.

The Series S will only cost $299 and it will be released holiday season. Many people have long since thought that Series X would cost $500. Some recent rumors and leaks from other companies have shown it could be $600.
I think it would be reasonable to guesstimate that the Series X could cost as low as $400-450.
What do you think of the Series S? Will this be your preferred console or you will be buying its big brother, the Series X?
