Mission: Impossible 6 Begins Production!

On Twitter Director Christopher McQuarrie announce that the upcoming Mission: Impossible 6 has officially begun production!

In the new sequel, you will see the return of Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt along with Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner. It was also revealed that The Crown and Everest star Vanessa Kirby will have a role as well and that the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, will also appear in the movie.

McQuarrie, who previously directed Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, is once again writing and directing the sequel. McQuarrie said in a recent interview that more familiar faces from the franchise you will be seeing in the upcoming film.

It was recently revealed that Cruise has been preparing for a sequence in the upcoming film for a year, though it remains to be seen what exactly that scene will involve. McQuarrie also told Empire that he is hoping to probe into an emotional journey for Ethan unlike anything in the previous movies.

Mission: Impossible 6 will theaters on July 27, 2018. The fuse is lit all we have to do is wait.
