MONOPOLY Movie Will Start Shooting Soon

Monopoly movie, This is something new – This I like to hear about more, More about the story and the casting of the movie and plot of the movie will be interesting. I like Monopoly since I am a child but watching a movie about it. It will be a new experience.

Collider recently spoke with producer Randall Emmett, who revealed that Monopoly project is steaming ahead:

“We’ve worked on the script for about nine months, we now have a script that we’re going to go make this summer.”
Production will likely take place in Georgia or Louisiana, with some major exterior work done on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. (Will that be the famous “Boardwalk” from the game?) As for who will direct the project, Emmett said:

“[For] the director, we’re on a shortlist of a few names, and we’re beyond excited about whichever of these directors ends up coming together. The cast is young kids but there is one lead, older—a guy chasing kids, lets say.”

Collider mentioned that plot sounded a little like The Goonies, and the producer indicated that’s the vibe they’re going for with this film:

“That’s a perfect analogy to what Monopoly will hopefully be. There is a treasure map…It’s a family adventure film. We really spent a lot of time on the script really trying to create family fun for everybody.”
