Latino-Review is now reporting that Ms. Marvel will in fact be in the sequel.

A few months ago Katee Sackhoff revealed that she had been talking to Marvel about a film project. A lot of people assumed that she could be up for the role of Ms. Marvel, which you’ve got to admit would be perfect casting. Still no official word on it but it can be a good choice.
