Netflix is Raising Its Prices Once Again

Netflix

Netflix is dominating Hollywood with all of the original series and movies that it pumping out. They are producing a ludicrous amount of projects and a lot of them aren’t inexpensive to make. They are paying a lot of money on these things and they have to pay for it.

The genuine way to help cover those costs is to increase the subscription price on the subscribers. I know a lot of people might whine about the price increase, but we all knew it was going to ultimately come when we signed up for the service.

TV Line reports that the Basic plan will rise from $8 to $9. The HD standard. The HD play will go up from $11 to $13 a month, and the most expensive plan is the 4K Premium, which will increase from $14 to $16. It is not a huge rise in prices, but as of January 2019, the price increase is effective instantly.

Netflix has explained that “We change pricing from time to time as we continue investing in great entertainment and improving the overall Netflix experience.”

As long as they keep giving excellent entertainment and they don’t get too crazy on the pricing, I’ll go along with them. After they raised the princes in 2017, there was a drop in new subscribers. I think that will happen again with the newest increase in pricing.
