“The worst monsters are the ones we create.”

Netflix revealed The Witcher to Hall H in San Diego Comic-Con and that’s where they released the first insanely cool trailer and a few clips for the highly anticipated new fantasy series. Henry Cavill (Geralt), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), Freya Allan (Ciri), and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich all showed up to talk about the show.

The footage was spectacular check it out below! I think fans of the book series and video game are going to love the new upcoming show.

Cavill talked about on stage how big of a fan he is of the series and that when he found it it was getting made he pushed super hard to get the role of Geralt. He was going after the role before anything was even in development! He realized that he was bothering the hell out of Hissrich to the point where she told him he needs to back off until they really had something developed and ready to take to actors. So, he was patient and they met with over 200 other actors for the part but they came back and offered it to Cavill.
