Netflix THE DARK CRYSTAL: AGE OF RESISTANCE Super Awesome Trailer is Here!

Netflix released the first trailer of the upcoming fantasy series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, and I’m in wonder how it will be. This trailer is gorgeous! The visuals, the tone, the story, the characters… it’s all just too perfect.

The series is based on Jim Henson’s classic 1982 feature film The Dark Crystal. it is really amazing that this series actually exists, and the fact that it looks so great is exciting! I can’t wait to watch this series and see how this epic adventure tells the story.

It’s set several years before the events of the original movie. “We find that the world of Thra is dying. The Crystal of Truth is at the heart of Thra, a source of untold power. But it is damaged, corrupted by the evil Skeksis, and a sickness spreads across the land. When three Gelfling uncover the horrific truth behind the power of the Skeksis, an adventure unfolds as the fires of rebellion are lit and an epic battle for the planet begins.”
