The Witcher writer Lauren S. Hissrich created many characters that will play a role in the upcoming Netflix series and today she gave details on each one of them, which is quite awesome. Which offer detail insight into the characters and their capabilities. If you are a gamer or if you are familiar with the books then you might recognize some of the names.
Hissrich assured the fans that the show will not be a watered down version of the story. The Witcher is very dark and hardcore to the core and I’m very excited to actually see how this series is going to be.
The Witcher chronicles monster hunters who, with training and body modification, develop supernatural abilities at a young age to battle deadly beasts.
Executive producers Sean Daniel and Jason Brown released the following statement with more extra insight into the story:
“The Witcher stories follow an unconventional family that comes together to fight for truth in a dangerous world. The characters are original, funny and constantly surprising and we can’t wait to bring them to life at Netflix, the perfect home for innovative storytelling.”
the pilot script is ready and I am sure things will be moving forward quickly from this point on.
There is no release date revealed at this time, also we don’t know about the cast as well, Check out the character listings below.
