New Animated GHOSTBUSTERS TV Series is Being Developed

Sony Pictures is loving the Ghostbusters franchise. They are making a movie as well and now studio is developing a new animated series. The show will be called Ghostbusters: Ecto Force and it is set in the future of 2050. Original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman is heading the series and we are expecting high from the upcoming animated. I remember it from my childhood and I am so excited to see it again in all it’s former glory.

There aren’t many other details on the series but the studio is looking to release it sometime in 2018. With Reitman on board and leading the charge on this project, chances are it will  solid series. Also, since the movie is set in the year 2050, we’re looking forward to seeing a whole team of new characters with some futuristic ghostbusting technology and some more slimey ghosts.
