J.J. Abrams and Stephen King series was announced last week and a teaser trailer of CASTLE ROCK released, which you can watch here. It becomes the top show to watch on my list.
I was fascinated by the concept and what the teaser had to give. Hulu has announced today that they’ve ordered 10 episodes of the series that will form together different characters and themes from the classic stories that King has told over the years including his Castle Rock environment.
The also released some additional information on the series, describing it as “a psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse.”
Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.
It’ll be interesting to see how this anthology series comes together and how all of the stories and characters will end up connecting with each other.
