Indiana Jones 5 is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2023. Fans are super excited to see Harrison Ford back in the role of Indiana and venturing on a new adventure. Now, thanks to Empire, we have two new pictures to share with you that will grace the cover of their upcoming magazine issue.
The first picture features Ford all geared up as Indiana Jones, and the other picture is concept art that shows something wild going on in New York City! This is a new tease of what the story for Indian Jones 5 will tell. We have no idea what will happen in the movie, but it shows Indy staring at some sort of firey bright light in the distance.
Producer Frank Marshall earlier hyped up the next chapter of the archeological adventure franchise saying: “It’s a great story, it’s a great character, and I think you’re going to be very happy with this movie. It’s everything I think that everybody wants out of an Indiana Jones movie.”
The movie is reportedly set in the ‘60s during the space race, which has seemingly been verified by set photos that have surfaced. Those photos show a big ticker-tape parade featuring red, white, and blue prop signs that read “Welcome Back to Earth” and “Welcome Back Astronauts.”
We’ll have more details to share soon when Empire releases its next magazine. It’s going to be loaded with photos, story details, and interviews with the cast and crew.
Director James Mangold did an incredible job capturing the spirit and heart of Indiana Jones. Steven Spielberg is producing the movie and the cast also includes Antonio Banderas, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Boyd Holbrook, and Shaunette Renée Wilson.
Indiana Jones 5 will be released on June 30th, 2023.
