New Information on Pixar’s New Short Film LAVA

Pixar Animation Studios has announced a new short film they are developing called “Lava.”

Synopsis:

Inspired by the isolated beauty of tropical islands and the explosive allure of ocean volcanoes, “Lava” is a musical love story that takes place over millions of years.
It’s definitely a vague description, but Collider offers up a little bit more information saying that it’s a “a cute, if slight, tale about a lonely Volcano, prone to lament – via song – how he yearns for another to ‘lava.’ Unbeknownst to him, a female volcano lurks below sea level, listening to his ballad.”
