Watching Vin Diesel out of The Fast and the Furious franchise is a bit weird but today we have got a new international trailer for Vin Diesel’s upcoming sci-fi action thriller Bloodshot. This is a very different trailer than the first one. It has a completely different vibe and gives even more footage from the movie.
In the movie, Diesel takes on the character of an ex-soldier named Ray Garrison, who is given powers of regeneration, technomancy, and metamorphosis, which happens because of nanites that are injected into his blood after he is killed. Diesel isn’t wearing the comic realistic look of the character, the movie looks like it will give some action-packed entertainment.
Here’s the synopsis:
After he and his wife are murdered, Marine Ray Garrison (Vin Diesel) is resurrected by a secret team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine – Bloodshot. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility hellbent on revenge, only to discover that there’s more to the conspiracy than he originally thought
The movie is directed by Dave Wilson, who is Deadpool director Tim Miller‘s partner at Blur Studios. Bloodshot stars Toby Kebbell, Michael Sheen, Eiza González, Talulah Riley, Alex Hernandez, and Outlander’s Sam Heughan.
Bloodshot will hit theaters on February 21, 2020.
