A new Ms. Marvel teaser trailer has been released which reveals the main character, Kamala Khan’s favorite superheroes. These are the Marvel heroes we know and love as well, who have inspired Kamala to become who we will see her evolve into in the series.
In the series, newcomer Iman Vellani stars Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. “An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega-fan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, right?”
The rest of the cast includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.
This looks like it’s going to be a blast, and I can’t wait to check it out. Ms. Marvel is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on June 8, 2022.
