New Nintendo 2DS Pikachu Edition is Amazing

Today Nintendo announced the release of the New Nintendo 2DS XL Pikachu edition. The whole 2DS is themed like Pokemon the most beloved character from the Pokemon Universe, complete with brown/white buttons, and Pikachu’s face smash dab in the middle of the console.

Nintendo has also announced that the Detective Pikachu game which will release March 23rd and with it will be a Detective Pikachu Amiibo. The Amiibo will unlock cutscenes in the game,  as well as help with information when solving different puzzles. The combined Amiibo, Game, and 2DS XL will make Pikachu fans satisfied for now until the release of the Detective Pikachu movie which will hit the theaters in 2019.

This cool looking Pikachu edition will be released on January 26th, will cost $159.99.
