New Top Gun: Maverick Trailer, Val Kilmer’s Iceman Makes a Comeback!

Paramount Pictures has unleashed a new trailer for Top Gun: Maverick. The sequel we have been all waiting for will come to theaters and IMAX on May 27.

“After more than 30 years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him… Facing an uncertain future and confronting the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it.”

In addition to Tom Cruise, Top Gun: Maverick also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, and Ed Harris. It’s directed by Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion).

Top Gun franchise is widely thought of as synonymous with actor Tom Cruise, producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed in an interview last year that the star feels the same way about Val Kilmer. So Iceman is coming back for sure.
