I am sure you won’t like it when you move into your new home as a young married couple full of dreams and hopers, and the possessed ghost of the old lady’s daughter who lives next door keeps breaking into your house and moving your things and frightening the crap out of you? Well, I would hate that. I have to make light of scary stuff, or I will just end up in tears. So that is the route I have taken with the trailer for the new movie Isabelle.
Isabelle stars Amanda Crew (The Haunting in Connecticut, Sex Drive) as a newlywed and expectant mother who moves into a house with her husband Adam Brody (The O.C., Shazam!), and quickly has a series of horrific things happen, while battling some pretty dark things, stemming from the evil spirit they sense coming from the house next door. Sheila McCarthy (The Umbrella Academy) plays the creep next door, and Zoe Belkin (Carrie) plays her gross, dead daughter.
Isabelle hits select theaters and VOD on May 24th.
