New UNCHARTED Poster Featuring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg

Sony Pictures has released a new poster for the upcoming adventure movie Uncharted. It features Tom Holland in the role of Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as his mentor Sully. It looks like it’ll be an entertaining film, but it’s not really an Uncharted movie. Holland said previously how he tried to bulk up for the role so that he didn’t look like a child next to Wahlberg. But that didn’t help obviously. They definitely wanted to make him look a bit bigger in this poster!

The new film comes from director Ruben Fleischer (Venom), and the movie will tell the story of a young Nathan Drake before he becomes the treasure hunter. Nathan Drake is known for his experiences across the world as he reveals various historical mysteries.

Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.

Art Marcum and Matt Holloway wrote the most current draft of the script. The movie also stars Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali, and The 100 actor Tati Gabrielle.

The Uncharted movie will be released in theaters on February 18th, 2022.
