Sony Pictures released a new trailer last week for director Andy Serkis’ Venom: Let There Be Carnage. That trailer put a focus on the main villain of the story, Carnage, Woody Harrelson playing the character.

Now, today we are sharing a video from Screen Crush, which breaks down all of the Easter eggs and references that are in the trailer.

The trailer shows Carnage’s origin story, how he bit Eddie Brock to steal a bit of the symbiote for himself. We also get connections to the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films, the MCU, and the Loki-centered multiverse that connects this film to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
