New Xenomorph Introduced in New Alien Trailer

20th Century Fox has released the new Alien trailer! Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created with Alien: Covenant, The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an undiscovered paradise, but is really a dark, dangerous world. When they reveal a threat beyond their intelligence, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Prometheus, Alien: Covenant connects directly to Ridley Scott’s 1979 original work of science fiction. It begins with the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. There, the crew discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David, the survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby, and James Franco.

Alien: Covenant will open in theaters on May 19.
