Marvel has many plans in the works, lots of new things that have been revealed to fans and there is a lot more which is still not revealed. The studio head has long-term plans that are ever-changing and being changed to fit the world they’ve created. In a new interview with Collider at the WandaVision press event, Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige revealed a bit, saying how far in advance the studio has planned, saying:
“To varying degrees of specificity, it’s always about 5 to 6 years out versus what we’ve announced. So whatever that takes us to.”
Marvel has given us some names and dates for projects in Phase 4 as far as Christmas 2022, and Phase 5 will also begin in 2023, but we don’t know anything after that. It’s good to know that Marvel has big plans! It’s been said that the studio had mapped out the movies Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019) way back in 2014, so this must be a good formula.
Feige replied to the question of how they will bring Mutants to the MCU. He replied:
“It has been heavily discussed, as you might imagine. And we have a good feeling of where it’s going and when it’s going, but that all remains to be seen.”
