The Tracking Board reports that “the house that Freddy built” is developing a fresh new take on the film. If you remember the 2010 NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET which was not all that bad, It has it’s moments but now having another remake of a remake is definitely going to hit the sweet spot.
There’s no information on the story of the movie but we do know the story didn’t we? Freddy Krueger will put on his glove of death and terrorize another group of teenagers in their dreams.
The script is being written by David Leslie Johnson, who is behind projects such as Orphan, The Walking Dead, and James Wan‘s upcoming The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist.
Wes Craven created the franchise, which debuted in 1984 with Robert Englund in the role of Freddy Krueger. Over the years, it spawned nine films including Freddy Vs. Jason.
