Things happened this year or Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan was supposed to be open by now. It’s almost done though, and even if none of us are likely going to visit the theme park, we can at least press our faces up on the glass and cherish it from a distance.
The park will be open now in next Spring, is looking like a dream come true. A photo released by The Sankei News last month shows that things are pretty much completed, at least from the inside. Guests enter the park through the area in the bottom left of the photo and will find themselves standing in a space that takes in some of the most iconic Mario places imaginable, from Toad Houses to platforming stages to an ice level.
