Official Logan Synopsis Revealed by Hugh Jackman

20th Century Fox (via Hugh Jackman) has revealed the official Logan synopsis for the sequel starring Hugh Jackman in his final run at Wolverine. James Mangold is directing and also starring Sir Patrick Stewart.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Primary villains for the film will include The Reavers as well as Wolverine’s favorite group, Weapon X. Mr. Sinister’s role in the film will likely be tied to the creation of X-23, played by Dafne Keen in the film, the young female clone of Wolverine also along for the film’s road trip.

Logan is coming to theaters on March 3, 2017.
