The former TWA Flight Center which was designed by Eero Saarinen was empty for a long time at John F. Kennedy airport since the airline closed in 2001. This gorgeous structure was completely empty for years, but in 2016, it was announced that MCR Development would break ground to build a grand hotel with the biggest lobby in the world, using the original architecture of the building.
