Netflix has revealed the opening title sequel for its new horror series, The Haunting of Bly Manor. It looks great and it seems like a solid horror series just like its first season.
Bly Manor is Mike Flanagan’s follow-up to the acclaimed horror anthology series The Haunting of Hill House. The series is set to premiere next week and then will see if it is as good as the season one.
Bly Manor is described as gothic romance. It was explained that while Hill House “was the story of family struggle and trauma, Bly Manor is about broken hearts that never heal and tragic star-crossed romance.”
The opening sequence will show us to the main characters in the series which include Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen in eerie portraits. Check out the video below:

After an au pair’s tragic death, Henry Wingrave (Henry Thomas) hires a young American nanny (Victoria Pedretti) to care for his orphaned niece and nephew (Amelie Bea Smith, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) who reside at Bly Manor with the estate’s chef Owen (Rahul Kohli), groundskeeper Jamie (Amelia Eve) and housekeeper, Mrs. Grose (T’Nia Miller). The new series will air on Netflix on October 9th, 2020.
