13 Reasons Why has created a discussion in pop culture with people on both sides of the topic explaining. It wasn’t one of the best things I watched in 2017, but it was worth watching. I didn’t pull some deeper message out of the situation, but then again I’ve never experienced something like that so I have nothing to compare it to. Netflix attempts to showcase suicide and depression in the show and tries to create a dialogue, In this video below teens and parents watch the show individually and then share their thoughts on the show.
