Penelope Cruz Rumored to Be Next BOND Girl

Now that it looks like Sam Mendes is coming back to direct the 24th and 25th James Bond films, let the rumors begin on who will be the next Bond girl. According to Yahoo! Movies UK, Spanish star Penelope Cruz is set to be the next Bond girl, which at 40 years-old, would make her the oldest Bond girl yet.

There’s no confirmation of this, but according to their source, “The producers have tried to get Penelope before, but she has never been available because of other commitments. The discussions have been going on for some time, and they are working out the contract details now.”

The actress is currently pregnant with her second child. The source goes on to address that issue saying,

She got back into shape fast after the first baby and will no doubt regain her figure quickly this time. She’ll be a great Bond girl. Bond girls are always brainy as well as sexy, and that’s totally Penelope.

Well, to see her as a bond girl it’s a bit of a shock, Cz I think she passed her “Bond” Days! Don’t they have any younger girls to select from or they want a mature girl to match the level of our bond?
