Sony and Microsoft both released the January 2017 free games lineup.
PlayStation Plus members will be able to download the war survival game This War of Mine: The Little Ones for PlayStation 4, the vehicular combat game Blazerush for PlayStation 3, and the indie adventure game Azkend 2 for PS Vita.
Additional games will be available for multiple consoles, including the steampunk stealth game The Swindle available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita, with the cartoon adventure game Day of The Tentacle Remastered and the action-adventure game Titan Souls available for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download the tower-defense game World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap from January 1-31 and the fighting game Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition from January 16 to February 15. On Xbox 360 (with Xbox One backwards compatibility), players can download the puzzle-platformer The Cave from January 1 to 15 and Rayman Origins from January 16 to 31.
