Real-Life Batman in Batmobile Patrols the Streets of San Diego

Chris Banner is the biggest Batman fan you could meet in San Diego or anywhere else for that matter. The guy dresses up as Batman and drives around the city streets in his very own custom-built Batmobile. Banner’s day job is real estate and weed trimming.

When talking to NBC San Diego, he says:

“I’ve got a problem. Everything I have is a bat. All my tractors have bats; my trucks, bats. Socks, underwear, you name it. I’m bat.”

Banner says his obsession with the superhero started when was seven…just like most of us. That was when he got his first Robin costume. He has since stepped into the role of the Caped Crusader and puts on 40 shows a year.
