Real Life Fanmade R/C Helicarrier Actually Flies

Ever seen a real flying Helicarrier?  If you didn’t now you will thanks to this amazing remote-controlled version of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s iconic hovercraft

Crafted by aviation and Marvel comics experts FliteTest, this homemade Helicarrier would give even Agent Phil Coulson pause. The aircraft even supports R/C smaller airplanes for airborne take-off, making for a Helicarrier that’s as functionable as it is fantastic.

You can make the same Helicarrier yourself. FliteTest was kind enough to share the detailed steps they took in creating the ship on their website. It certainly doesn’t look like a simple endeavor. You can check out the instructions, along with more photos of the ship, here.
