The Red Dead Redemption 2 release date has been potentially leaked by the Polish arm of Media Markt, which is a chain of electronic stores.
According to a list on the company’s official website (via Reddit), the highly anticipated Wild West action-adventure sequel will be released for PS4 on October 3, 2017. It is worth noting that the store received the date from the distributor of the game in Poland.
Responding to an email about the Red Dead Redemption 2 listing, the company replied, “I would like to inform you that our marketing department was informed by a distributor of the game that its airing date is 3th of October 2017.”
Developer Rockstar has yet to announce any details on the game’s release date following its announcement late last year, aside from confirming the title will ship on PS4 and Xbox One in fall 2017. Every gamer on the planet is waiting for another trailer and more details of the game but sadly Rockstar keeping it quiet.
The original Red Dead Redemption was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 back in May 2010 and has sold over 14 million copies worldwide to date. The game is a spiritual successor to 2004’s Red Dead Revolver, which is now available to download via the PlayStation Store.
