Why The River Raft Scene Was Cut From Jurassic Park?

Jurassic Park

In the first Jurassic Park novel, an extended sequence occurs in which Grant, Lex, and Tim acquire a raft and drift down a river in Isla Nublar after the Tyrannosaur breaks out of its enclosure. This portion of the novel featured a lot of dinosaurs along the banks of the jungle and had the trio discover several things about Jurassic Park unknown to the people who thought they were in control of it. Notable things found on the river adventure include a camouflaging juvenile Velociraptor, a couple of Dilophosaurs hooting in what was believed to be a couple display, Hypsilophodons running as well as the unfortunate drifting next to the area in which the T.Rex had decided to sleep.

This is a video on the Jurassic Park River Raft scene which is one of the Jurassic Park Deleted Scenes and on that features the Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Tyrannosaurus and the Jurassic World Dilophosaur.
