Robert DeNiro Will Be Digitally Look Younger In Martin Scorcese’s THE IRISHMAN

Gaston Pavlovich producer of the upcoming Martin Scorsese film The Irishman. In an recent interview he revealed that the studio has plans to “digitally de-age” De Niro in a tale that spans throughout the lifetime of real-life mafia hitman Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran.

Studio has already performed screen tests and were confident enough in the results that they would rather go this route than cast a young actor in the earlier part of the film. All the previous attempts of de-aging we have seen in the movies are not the good ones and I am sure everyone involved with the decision regrets it later. But times have changed and new tech is much smarter. We will see how this turns out to be! Do you think the digital de-aging is a good route to go?
