Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is starring in a film with none other than Apple’s digital assistant, Siri.
“I partnered with #Apple to make the biggest, coolest, craziest, dopest, most over the top, funniest (I don’t think its even a word but it shows how much The Rock is excited about this movie) movie ever,” wrote Johnson on his official Facebook page. “And I have the greatest co-star of all time – #SIRI.”
I am still unsure what the movie is about, but since it’s unlikely that a full-length feature from one of Hollywood’s biggest stars would just get dropped on us with one day’s notice, I think it is a sort of promotion to show off some of Siri’s features. Apple is promoting iPhone as a filmmaking tool, it’s likely the “movie” will be shot on an iPhone.
Whatever the movie is about its announcement is absolutely solid and well done on the poster you will see robot monsters, space travel, and car chases.
“I make movies for the world to enjoy and we also made this one motivate you to get out there and get the job done,” wrote Johnson. “I want you to watch it, have fun with it, and then go LIVE IT.”
The Rock x Siri will debut tomorrow on Apple’s YouTube page.
