Marvel Studio still has yet to unveil their big plans four Phase 4 of their movies. We don’t know precisely how the events of Avengers: Endgame will affect the MCU, and Marvel is going to wait until after that movie is released before they officially share the lineup.
However, we do know a tiny bit about what they are planning, such as The Eternals, Black Widow, Black Panther 2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and of course, Spider-Man: Far From Home. We also know that Marvel intends on having a version of the Avengers team going after Endgame, we just don’t know what iteration of the Avengers that will be.
Well, according to MCU Cosmic, there have been talks about both the Young Avengers and the New Avengers as possibilities. These could be two separate movies or one and the same. Kevin Feige previously confirmed that the seeds have already been planted for a possible Young Avengers movie with the introduction of Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie Lang in the MCU. An older teenage version of Cassie is rumored to show up in Endgame.
The report goes on to claim that this new Avengers movie could potentially combine the younger Avengers characters from these comics with the older legacy characters such as Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange to create a whole new MCU Avengers team.
I also should point out there have also been reports of a Dark Avengers movie being developed at Marvel. So it will be interesting to see how the Avengers team ends up expanding and moving forward through Phase 4.
At some point, some of the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters will have the chance to join the Avengers as well, which will be interesting.
