Ryan Gosling as DOCTOR STRANGE in Early Concept Art

Benedict Cumberbatch was not the first choice in the role of Stephen Strange in Marvel’s Doctor Strange, the studio was looking at actors such as Joaquin Phoenix, Jared Leto, and Ryan Gosling. Cumberbatch did it perfectly and I think it was a great and spot on choice for the role of Doctor. In case you’re wondering how Gosling will look if he landed the role in the movie, here’s a piece of early concept art that was created by artist Court Chu for the studio. I think Cumberbatch looks awesome as the Doctor and Ryan just not looks like Sorcerer Supreme material.
