Ryan Reynold Will Appear as Pikachu in DETECTIVE PIKACHU

Ryan Reynolds who you loved in Deadpool is set to appear in Legendary Picture’s Pokemon film Detective Pikachu! The actor will voiceover the famous Pokemon character and he will join the cast Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton.

The movie is being directed by Rob Letterman (Goosebumps) from a script that is being written by Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls).

The game follows a peculiar talking Pikachu who, despite not being as powerful and nimble as other Pikachu of his kind, is rather intelligent and claims to be a great detective. One day, Pikachu encounters a boy named Tim Goodman, who is able to understand what he is saying. Thus, the two begin working together to solve various mysteries revolving around Pokémon in the city.

The movie will start shooting very soon, So it will be a while for the movie to hit the theaters.
