Sega announces that they will be releasing the Sega Genesis Mini/Mega Drive Mini this year.
This is in the same style as the NES Classic and SNES Classic from Nintendo and PlayStation Classic from Sony where they create an emulator in a case shaped like the original console and it comes packed with fan favorite games.
Well, the games will differ depending on what region you live in, but Sega says that there will be 40 games for each region. In Japan, the Mega Drive Mini will include the following:

The Mega Drive will come with the classic six-button controllers, and the Genesis will have three-button controllers. The controllers will connect via USB, and the Genesis will ship with two controllers for a price of $79.99.
You can already pre-order the Genesis mini on Amazon and Wal-Mart console will be released on September 19.
