Seth Meyers Points At One Campaign Promise That Donald Trump Kept

In the new episode of his show, Seth Meyers dissect President Donald Trump’s campaign promises on Thursday.

According to Seth Meyers, Trump has only kept one of the promises he made to his supporters in the Presidential election.

Meyers played out a montage of clips showing Trump assuring to investigate Clinton, should she win the presidency. It ended with a segment in which Trump says, “I will ask my attorney general to appoint a special prosecutor.”

“It’s literally the only campaign promise he’s actually kept,” said Meyers, referencing the appointment of a special counsel to investigate the Trump campaign’s alleged Russia ties. 

“It’s almost like Donald Trump is a time traveler sent to warn us about himself,” Meyers added.
