Short Film SPAWN: THE RECALL

SPAWN: THE RECALL is a 8 minutes length short film inspired by the original comic book. It follows Spawn in an alternative storyline in which a mysterious woman struggles against evil forces.

SPAWN: THE RECALL is the story of a former witch and her son, who try to live a normal life away from the darkness, While they’re shopping in a supermarket, the child suddenly disappears, She starts looking for him, freaked out knowing evil forces are still lurking, A security guard comes to her help but while they are checking on the surveillance cameras, something happens.

After working as an independant director and VFX designer for years, Michael Paris decides to get started on a project that has been important to him for a long time : a movie starring Spawn. The opportunity to shoot in a supermarket turns the story toward the introduction of two new characters and a new story led by Spawn.  The shooting is fast and with a limited team. After two years of post-production, nearly a thousand VFX shots, all sounds edited, designed and mixed, and the music composed, SPAWN:THE RECALL is released.
