Sigourney Weaver’s Character in THE DEFENDERS Has a Connection to All Heroes

Sigourney Weaver

Not much is known about the villainous character of Sigourney Weaver plays in The Defenders. Her name is Alexandra and that she wants to kill Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist and that is all we know so far. We have no idea why, but actor Mike Colter, who plays Cage, revealed some information on Weaver’s character saying that she has a connection with all four heroes.

He explains to TV Guide:

“The villains that we’re dealing with are a combination of several entities, um, and they all have something to do with our separate stories that have played out in each of our own individual series. So this has been going on for a while. It wasn’t obvious each individual series, but in this series you’ll find out that the things that happened to all of us basically were all because of one entity and that’s what’s gonna kind of tie things together and then we’ll see that, we’ll understand that, and before you know it, eventually we’ll fight together or not.”

It’s hard to say what that connection could be because she is quite pissed with everyone in there. The Defenders is released on August 18th.
